Population: Tends to occur in young males


CT

Loss of sphericity of the femoral head

A bump at the femoral head-neck junction - Seen in 50%

Osteoarthritic change

Alpha angle > 55 degrees in anterosuperior position

Femoral head-neck offset < 6-7 mm


MRI

Focal cartilage delamination - Carpet phenomenon

Chondrolabral separation

Large cartilage defects

Labral avulsion
